Yesterday was an exciting day for the LGF Foundation. We took part in our first STEAM event at the Chandler Sunset Library. (STEAM is short for science, technology, engineering, art and math.) It was a lot of fun being able to share the collection and the kids were able to interact with some amazing pieces. Today’s most talked about pieces included: A T-Rex manus claw, Blue Azurite nodule from Siberia, Iron age Byzantine mace head, Dinosaur bone with agate fortifications and the Valera Meteorite. Thank you to Micah and his team for organizing this event, and to the kids and their families for attending. The LGF Foundation looks forward to visiting the Chandler libraries again soon!
