LGF 2014 Year in Review
We would to say thank you to everyone who has helped make 2014 a very productive year for the LGF Foundation. 2014 was a busy year for school visits, we enjoyed going into the classrooms and seeing the students interact with our collections. It is always such a thrill to watch a child’s eyes light up with curiosity when they are able to get up close to a piece of natural history. Please let us know if you would like us to visit your school.
Another first for us was the fall lecture series, Spectacular Nature, at the Tempe Public Library. That was a lot of fun to be able share the collection with like minded folks. Mark your calendars to join us Saturday, March 7 from 1:00pm to 3:00, as we start our spring series at the Tempe Public Library. We have added more dates and extended our time to allow you to get up close and see some history. Make sure you check our upcoming events to see what we are up to.
A huge thank you goes out to those of you who have donated some beautiful pieces to our collection. Your gifts are truly appreciated and we are excited to share them. Thank you to all who have given the gift of time, it takes a lot of hard work to move the foundation forward and we couldn’t do it without your help.
The LGF Foundation has some very exciting events planned for 2015. Please remember to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, watch our boards on Pinterest and check our website, www.lgffoundation.org, to keep up with our activities. We enjoy meeting new people and look forward to an amazing 2015. Happy New Year to you and yours!
