As an appreciation for reaching 4000 FaceBook likes, I am posting a very special specimen. While not valuable monetarily, it holds a special place in the evolution of the LGF Foundation. This is one of the first specimens I found while rockhounding with my late father, Larry Gene Fleeman, in the early 70’s. This time spent developed into my passion for mineral collecting, as well as the many other interests in the natural world around us. The years of collecting, learning and enjoying these tiny treasures lead to the formation of the LGF Foundation and the desire to bring a world class museum to Arizona. Thank you to all who have shown their support, we greatly appreciate it.
